This coffee highlights the diverse flavours of Colombia, where high-altitude Organic farms produce some of the highest quality coffee in the world. We're proud to introduce the first edition of Montañas de Colombia!

This unique coffee is a testament to the dedication of producer Yinyini Avilez and his family, who work passionately at La Estrella, their farm in Tolima, Colombia. Known in his community for his sustainable practices, Yinyini knows that quality green coffee start with healthy soil. On his farm, there are natural shade trees that reduce erosion and control soil moisture, providing the coffee trees with access to a rich source of nutrients.

We chose a light roast to enhance the vibrant flavour profile of this Tabi coffee and its natural process. Montañas de Colombia offers bright notes of raspberry and orange zest, perfectly balanced by a rich butterscotch sweetness. These beans didn't do it for me.
I think I may have gotten a batch of beans that were exposed to the air, the taste was way off.... Stale and flat. This is not my experience with any of the other products that this company offers, which are simply the most flavorful and healthy coffees I have ever tasted.
I was excited to try this blend, based on my experience with the other blends from the Biodynamic Coffee, but the
beans that I received were obviously off. There was none of the freshness, or dimensions and layers of flavor that I have come to expect from Biodynamic Coffee's other blends. Rather, the flavor was stale, flat and had an unpleasant aftertaste.
I have reached out to Biodynamic Coffee through their customer service bot, but have not heard back from them yet. It may be that they will reach out to me, and replace my order with another bag of the Montañas de Colombia, Limited Edition - Whole Bean., and I would look forward to amending this review with positive results.

Not my "go to"
I generally drink either the Bon Decaf with the French Roast, or just the French Roast (French Press grind). I found the Montanas to be much lighter tasting and almost more acidic tasting if that makes sense. In any case, it was a totally different taste than my usual, and the one bag I purchased will be the last. I gave it 3 stars because it still has great quality and someone else may find this is their go to. I have been mixing this is with the French Roast now to use it up.
