Regenerative Agriculture Chocolate Medium

It was in 2018 that we had the pleasure of meeting Flhor and Napo on their family farm, 18 Conejo in the famous Marcala coffee growing region of Honduras. They welcomed us with open arms and shared their coffee growing process, focused on organic and biodynamic methods. It inspired us to launch Holistic Roasters to work with them.

Their coffee growing process, focused on organic and biodynamic methods consists of amplifying the biodiversity of crops and avoiding any use of pesticides. These practices are beneficial for coffee, the farmland and our entire planet!

    The one for me!

I have tried every Biodynamic Coffee caffeinated roast offered, and 18 Conejo will be my go-to moving forward. As the packaging describes, the coffee has undertones of chocolate and hazelnut. Chocolate and hazelnut are two of my favorite flavors paired with coffee, so this coffee's flavor is right up my alley. The beans are what I would describe as a perfect medium roast. The strength of the coffee can be dictated by how many beans you use per cup. Once you find your ideal amount of beans, these beans will make an outstanding cup of smooth, flavorful, and easy-going down cup of coffee with no acidic aftertaste. Add a squirt of caramel-flavored stevia liquid and oat/coconut creamer, and taste some coffee heaven.
